WineDiva's Review

Slick, tangy, juicy.
Lunessence is a sustainable estate winery located in Summerland and this single vineyard Blanc de Noirs is a blend of Syrah (14%) Merlot (60%) and Pinot Noir (26%). The grapes were foot trodden and the juice was left in contact with skins for one hours to allow for this pale shade. It was then aged in a mix of neutral French oak and stainless steel on lees for five months.
A pretty pale salmony-pink with cranberry and strawberry, honeysuckle and orange peel, spice and cedar with herbal undertones. It's a dry version, tart red fruits and blood orange with mineral flecks. It is slick with nice concentration.
